Online education is becoming more popular; yet there are many people still skeptical about the virtual educating system. As a UI/UX designer, my goal was creating experimental designs based on the research, user testing, analyzing and comparing the original (control) and new (experiment) designs, and bringing the enhanced design out to the world to get more leads.

Design Challenge
Connections Academy has a homepage with a big image that covers majority of the screen.
Another challenge was how to implement a CTA (call-to-action) that draws a better attention to the users.

Solution
I redesigned a page using a different image that is in a landscape orientation and added a CTA that is in a different shade (not main brand colors) to draw a better attention.
I also implemented an additional CTA button that floats at the bottom of the screen for the mobile users.
Experiment
I created couple experimental designs and tested them using AB Testing platform called Monetate for couple weeks to watch live analytics.

Final Look
Once the analytics steadily showed more user engagement for an extended period of time (approximately another 2 weeks), I then pushed the new design out into the production.

Page redesigns using AB testings led to exceeding our D2C (direct to conversion) goal by 60.3% and lead-to-app conversion by 40.6% in 2017.
